Photo of the Day –Oct 20th — Drone Over the Mekong Delta

I’ve only been flying a drone for about 4 months but I’ve quickly discovered that aerial photography opens up a whole new perspective on photography. I’m able to shoot stuff from angles and heights that was impossible to achieve before. It’s a photographic genre in its infancy. And it’s fun!

The photo above is a drone shot taken on the Mekong Delta, the ‘rice bowl’ of Vietnam. It’s a water world that moves to the rhythms of its canals and streams crisscrossing the landscape like arteries where boats, houses and markets float

Beautiful choreographed photo from 200 hundred feet above
